I was a college student athlete. I hated school, but I loved my sport. And I knew I wasn't going to play it forever.
The path I went down was the traditional one. I got a bachelor's degree, then a master's degree. That meant expensive degrees, years of student loans, and working for somebody else. It meant I would never build something for myself, and I knew that would lead to never having real freedom with my time or my money.
